Residence Preparation
Residents are urged to place towels in front of your entrance doors and sliding doors to block water from entering the home as water may enter your homes due to the combination of the wind speed and rain.
All Single-Family Homeowners are asked to use your Accordion Shutters for storms. Please visit www.noaa.org, www.lwdd.net, or www.readypbc.com for all weather-related updates in addition to your local and national news channels.
Lawn Ornaments/Flower Pots/Solar Lights/Security Signs/Flagpoles, Etc.:
It is mandatory that residents remove all objects from the exterior of their property in the event of a storm. Due to the volatile nature of these storms, objects can become projectiles and cause serious damage to the surrounding structures, break windows and damage cars. Furthermore, if your objects are found to have caused any damage to other homes, you will be held financially responsible for damages incurred. If you are not a full-time resident, please make arrangements for securing your belongings as they can become wind-driven projectiles in the event of a storm.

Drainage and Lake Levels
Easement Drainage:
Management will be clearing any debris from blocking the in-ground drains behind all structures along the perimeter walls, Via Lampione and the canal.
Lake Worth Drainage District:
Residents are reminded that District canal levels may increase with rainfall but will slowly recede in response to primary control structures making the necessary discharges. Rainfall may raise community lake levels and produce temporary flooding of streets, sidewalks and yards in low lying areas. Please remember that these areas are designed and constructed to hold and store excess rainfall runoff to avoid flooding of homes and businesses. We await LWDD’s approval to operate our drainage weir. Upon receiving permission, we will promptly reconfigure the control structure to facilitate the drainage of surplus water from the lake.
Potential Closures
The HOA and all our vendors follow very detailed procedures and protocols as storms approach. Several factors, including strength, size, speed, forecasts and official storm Watches & Warnings help determine if and when facilities and amenities might shut down. If any closures (pool, tennis, bocce, pickleball) are necessary, we will advise you via email.
